The ‘Kiosques de Paris’ collection

To equip the Parisian bandstands (pictures on previous page), the City of Paris once more called on the Edmond&Fils’ know-how to resuscitate the Parisian foldable chairs, for the ‘Kiosques en Fête’ event.

No more was needed to spark the idea of a foldable collection, both festive and romantic, which seems to be coming straight out of the roaring twenties…

The historic café chair

Particular attention was given to respect the design line of historic café chairs,
especially with the welded slats. The St André’s cross, an essential element to guarantee a good stability, and rivets, are a nod to the mechanical engineering techniques of the last century.
