The Kiosques de Paris Collection

To furnish its bandstands, the city of Paris called upon the expertise of edmond&fils to manufacture over 1800 vibrant orange folding chairs as part of the ‘Kiosques en fête’ operation. This was all it took to spark the idea of a folding collection that is both festive and romantic, seemingly straight out of the Roaring Twenties…

The Lemonade Seller's Chair

Particular attention was paid to respecting the design lines of the historic lemonade seller’s chairs, especially the assembly of metal slats by welding. The Saint Andrew’s cross, an essential element to ensure the overall stability, and the round-head rivets, are a nod to the mechanical construction techniques of the last century.
